NANNY TRAINING AND EDUCATION JUNE 16-21st
For 6 days in June our nannies will go to school while other people care for the kids. During these 6 days they will take classes that will help them take better care of the children. There will also be classes that will help them in their own lives.
Many of our nannies come to us without any knowledge of child development, work ethics, basic health care or first aid. Things we may learn as we go in the States are not available to folks here.
OUR BREAKDOWN OF CLASSES WILL BE:
Child Development - month by month birth to five years
Attachment
First Aid
Health Basics, germs
CPR
Work Ethics
Self Defense
We still need professionals to help teach these classes (or related classes) and we need people to help care for the kids while the nannies are in school. We are inviting nannies from other orphanages as well. Come join us!
The week will end on Saturday with Police Chief Mike Healy teaching self defense!
